Thistledoo is a Western Australian Band. Based in Perth, we play Scottish and Irish Celtic music, with a mix of popular tunes. A range of traditional Jigs and Reels, traditional and Contemporary songs and dances, create the perfect Entertainment for any Event.
Based out of Perth, Western Australia, Thistle Doo has Evolved into This line up. We are all experienced musicians, who in various guises have been performing for 30+ years. Ian and Grant have played together for over 10 years in two previous bands, and with the addition of Rachel a couple of years ago, We morphed into Thistle Doo, Playing our own brand of Scottish, Irish, and popular music.

Burn’s Night 2023
Well the madness that is Christmas is now over for another year, and Thistledoo are looking forward to another year of entertaining you. We start 2023 with Burn’s night and 2 gigs at some of our favourite venues the Pipers Inns. With also 2 private functions on the 22nd and 28th Jan. So a busy week or two. Well we had a great afternoon at the National Hotel this Sunday 30th Oct. (Someone, Me ) forgot to put it on the website! but it was on our Facebook page and the gig was well attended. I will try to stop life getting in the way again and keep everyone up to date on what’s going on. Spring is Here and Summer is coming, so look out for more of our exploits in the near future.
